Uranium Stocks

Nova News

Nova Uranium (TSX VENTURE:NUC - News) is pleased to update the ongoing Phase One Nova Showing drill program at its Mont Laurier Uranium Property. The Phase One drill program is currently testing limited portions of the Nova "A" and "B" Zones with a planned 30 vertical, large diameter HQ drill holes. To date, a total of 992 metres of core have been drilled in nine holes on the Nova "B" Zone. An additional three holes are planned for the "B" Zone, followed immediately by initial drill testing of the Nova "A" Zone with 18 holes. Core sampling of the first nine holes has been slower than anticipated because of a combination of logistical, technical and personnel issues. Nova has recently doubled both the size of its field geological staff and its core cutting capacity in order to provide a more rapid pace of results. To date only samples from the first hole have been logged, cut and submitted to the laboratory for analyses. Nova has not received any analytical results from this first hole.

Nova is also pleased to announce that it has completed a detailed compilation of its extensive Mont Laurier Uranium Property's large historical data set. Nova plans to commence its summer field season program before the end of May. The program will focus on follow up of the additional known 20 surface uranium showings on the property and investigation of airborne radiometric and ground geochemical anomalies with a goal of preparing additional high priority targets for drill testing by late summer.

Dejour Enterprises: A Fresh Approach

I am very confident that the coming Uranium boom and consequent bubble will be shockingly similar to the Tech boom and bubble of the late 90's.

How? Well at that time, there were hundreds of brand new IPO's coming on the market with nothing more than an idea. And they all went up higher than could ever be rationally possible. But people were not thinking rationally at that time and they won't be again in the resource/uranium bubble.

Masses for some reason love to invest in things they don't have a clue about but since it's going up and everybody is making money in it, it must be good. So Uranium will be the next Tech, I predict.

However, getting back on track for me to tell you about a Uranium junior that really stands out from the crowd in my opinion.

There are now 115 uranium companies in Canada according to latesturanium.com. I have briefly researched most. And almost each one tells me the same story"

Strathmore Minerals

Back on January 21, 2006 I was quite interested in Strathmore Minerals. They are the 16th largest uranium company in Canada right now. Here is their company description straight from their website:

"Strathmore Minerals Corporation is a Canadian based resource company specializing in the strategic acquisition, exploration and development of uranium properties. The Company acquires previously discovered but not yet mined uranium resources and positions itself in areas well known for uranium production. With one of the largest exploration land packages in the prolific Athabasca Basin along with additional holdings in the United States, Canada and Peru, Strathmore has established a solid portfolio of projects that offer investors high leverage to future rising uranium prices.

The increase in the price of uranium has enabled the Company to accelerate its development plans. A mine development office was opened in Santa Fe, New Mexico and a permitting initiative to advance the Company's Church Rock property towards production is now underway.

Look Who Went To Europe To Promote:

Do you recognize this handsome guy? Well he's none other than Donald Moore, CEO of Nova Uranium, one of my top picks.

Here, he is shown promoting Nova to European investors at the first ever Uraniumletter European Forum in Zurich, Geneva and Paris.

This was held between Jan 30-Feb 1 of this year.

There is a lot of money in European that I think is still on the sidelines there as far as uranium investing goes so to get Nova exposure to these investors is a very good thing.

More info on that short conference here.
